Jackfruit + Lentil Tourtiere
a vegan take on the classic Quebecois dish. Made with jackfruit, lentils and veggies. And all the traditional spices, with those hints of clove, allspice, thyme and garlic. With a flakey pastry shell.
Serves 4-6 people (depending on slice size and side dishes)
Ingredients: pastry (wholewheat flour, sunflower oil, coconut oil, pepper, salt, nutritional yeast, water), carrots, onion, potato, green peas, brown lentils, jackfruit, celery, red miso, mustard seed, apple cider vinegar, chardonnay, nutritional yeast, garlic, pepper, salt, nutmeg, clove, thyme, savoury, cinnamon, allspice, beet juice, sweet potato flour.
