Montreal style Smoked Meat
A vegan take on the classic Montreal style Smoked meat.
Cured for 3 days, desalinated, and then slow cooked and smoked in a charcoal smoker with maple wood and mesquite.
Similar to the pastrami we offer but less sweet and with more of a smoked maple flavour from the maple wood.
Will keep in the freezer for 6 months.
Reheat from thawed in the oven at 350F (covered), or keep it old school and steam to reheat.
Ingredients: vital wheat gluten, chickpea flour, onion, coriander, paprika, mustard seeds, tamari, garlic, sunflower oil, maple syrup, maple syrup, pepper, pink salt, beet powder, dill, celery seed, worcestershire sauce (apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar, onion, orange, lemon, bay leaves, all spice, clove, nori, tamarind, dijon mustard, liquid smoke, brown sugar).
